Starting out on YouTube is probably the hardest of ANY platform.
There is so much involved and so much work that goes into EVERY video…
There’s the learning curve of filming, editing, producing, script writing, marketing, social media management.
When I started out on YouTube, I would have LOVED a guide like this to break down the struggles I faced as a new YouTuber.
If I did, I think my time on YouTube would look a little less like this…
And maybe more like this…
RESOURCE 1: YOUTUBE SCRIPT TO INCREASE WATCH TIME
First of all…
Why didn’t ANYONE tell me about how important watch time is?
Once I learned about how watch time on YouTube affects the performance of my channel…
I was SHOOK.
Since then, I’ve been refining the script I use in my YouTube videos after MONTHS of trial and error and perfecting my OWN formula on what works for ME… hopefully, it works for you too (because I’ve been getting really great results!)
That’s hurdle #1 out of the way.
Now that you know WHAT to say, it’s all about HOW you say it.
RESOURCE 2: NO MORE CRINGE-WORTHY VIDEOS
I think we can ALL relate that the first times we hear ourselves speaking on camera are… not great to say the least.
Even if your content is BOMB…
It could be so hard to watch if you didn’t have the CONFIDENCE to express it.
That’s why I’m so excited to share exactly how I grew my on-camera confidence for YouTube videos for anyone starting out.
EVERY video you create is a new opportunity to better yourself, your channel, and your content.
It can be one tip at a time, but the important thing is that the changes ADD UP.
I hope this week’s freebies taught you something new.
Did you realize so much thought can go into the videos on YouTube?
Also, if you can’t wait for the post to go up, make sure you hit the notification bell so I can let you know whenever a video goes live!
Have a great week!
